A state campground done right. Well-spaced sites, plenty of outhouses, electrical hookups, trails to hike, beautiful scenery... the only downside is that it fills up fast and you can't make reservations. We stayed a night in the Day Use parking lot until a site opened up- and we were not alone. This was in mid-September, so I can't imagine what its like during peak tourist season. The secret is out now, so show up early and have a backup plan. What a beautiful new campground! The interpetive pavillion is a masterpeice! Gorgeous!!! And it has power hook ups! The only thing that's missing is a dump station and fill station.
